Week diaz: Evaluations.

I can’t believe that the challange is over! It flew by!  I guess it is time to evaluate my blog.

How many posts did you write?

My total number of posts: 21 (including this one)

How many were school based, your own interests or set by the challenge?

All of my posts are school related or  challenge related.

How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers or overseas students?

Total number of comments received: 23.

Student comments: 10.

Oversea commenters: 21.

Teachers and Mentor comments: 12.

Which post received the most comments? Why do you think that happened?

Middle school Problems 2, Count out three game, and Adding images and Attributions. I think they got all the comments they did, which was three, because they gave the readers something to look and think about.

Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?

I would have to say the “Lets Work challenge” because I got to free write and make a prezi (a slide show, check it out:))

Did you change blog themes at all and why?

Twice. Because I wanted to find out what was the best for me, and I found it!

How many widgets do you have? Do you think this is too many or not enough?

12, but they are mandatory, and aren’t games. I think it is enough, if not more than enough, because otherwise people would be busy with that rather than reading my posts.

How many overseas students do you have on your blogroll?

8 out of 13 people on my blog roll are overseas. The rest are my classmates, so people who visit my blogs will visit theirs too(:

p.s. have a great summer(:

Week diaz: Evalutions.

Oui oui!

So, today one of my friends reviewed  my blog and gave me some very positive feedback.

Here are the questions that she answered:

What were your first impressions of this blog?

“Very creative and organized.”

What captured your attention?

“The top picture and the backround.”

What distracted you on the blog?

” The sparkles on the back, because when I read posts I see sparkles.”

What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?

Thank you Jordyn(:

Visit her blog too(:

Week Nueve: Count out Three Game.

Getting to see others blogs is actually an amazing opertunity. I have learned a lot about many different places through the eyes othe the writer. I virtuialy visited Austrillia, South Korea, and New Zeland.

My comments consisted of nice thing like keep up the good work, or sweet blog.

Something that really hit me was this post about south Korea. It seems like an amazing place to be. It makes me wan’ to get out of Wisconsin and see the world.

Suprisingly this was hard. Because, all the blog rolls had their classmates.

Here are all of the posts that I commented on:

Week 8: Game preperation.

As humans, we all live a life. A life, that is filled with lessons. Learning the hard way isn’t easy. But it makes us stronger.

I am only 13 and have had my fair share with life. And with that I have learned plenty of lessons. I know there are a ton left to come, but I am some-what ready.

One major life lesson that I have had is: Treat people they way that you want to be treated. Yes, I know that that is something that you learn in kindergarten, But it has played an important role in my life. As you get older, as we all are, You won’t always be treated with respect. But, if you treat others with respect, You are most likely to receive it more frequently than not.

There is an entire world a head of us, lets make it worth living with all kindness.

Week Seite: Game Preparation.

Digital footprint. Simple as that. It is the light footprint that you leave on a webpage.

I have defiantly signed up for many sites. I always make sure it us safe & what not. I normally don’t fill out the “*”. If I don’t have to fill it out, I don’t.  When you fill out a registration, you normally have to answer these questions.

It can get super personal. Just remember to not give too much information to subdue your identity.

Week 7: Too much work, Now some fun.

Hello there,

Art pretty much defines my life. This is the first piece of “virtual” art I have completely made. It wasn’t as exciting and enjoyable as actually holding the medium in my hand. But, while creating this, I felt kind of bored. It wasn’t very fun. I think I am going to stick to “hands-on” art:)

Here is what I made. It is suppose to be sand:)

Week seis: Let’s Work.

Work. Definition – exertion or effort directed to produce or accomplishsomething; labor; toil. You don’t get paid to do a simple task. But, you can. Do you get paid to help your grandma carry in groceries? I hope not. Because you aren’t completely exerting yourself. But, anyway, work can be enjoyable if it is something that you enjoy. Like for say you really like basketball. Being an NBA player would be a fun job to have, in your perspective.

Work and school. What is the difference? Well, for most jobs you get paid to be there and exerting yourself to some extent. At school you aren’t getting paid to be there. You are paying to attend. I would say that is the biggest difference between to two.

Work to me is something to look forward to. When I am done with school, I really want to be an interior architectural designer. It is something that I enjoy doing. I would also like to be a photographer. To me, photography is a way of communication. You take a picture of something you don’t want to forget. I want to help people remember.

A dream job for most people is making tons of money and buying things you don’t need. If I could have any job I would be an interior architectural designer. It is a dream that will hopefully become reality. I know I said it before, but it also a dream.

Week cinco: Adding images and attributions

Today, I just taught myself how to add images to a post. It is super easy! I get my images from:

Now, when you find your image, SAVE it. Then you go to your blog and ADD a POST.
Then, you go to the TOOLBAR an select the FISRT icon after the UPLOAD/INSERT section.
After you do that, you click on SELECT FILES.
After that, you SELECT where you stored your image.
Once you have selected your image, you SCROLL to the BOTTOM of the page that comes up, and decide if you want it to be one of these options.
Once you select what you want, you need to  click INSERT INTO POST, which is right on the bottom of the photo above.
Happy Blogging using images!
