Bonjour!
So today I watched a video on judging others before meeting them, and hearing their stories. You may not even realize that people are talking about you behind your back, but it happens to everybody at some point of time in their life. Believe it or not, but I have been judged before. One way I have been judged is during a basketball game. I missed an easy shot and my coaches took me out and thought I underestimated myself and thought I wasn’t focused. How have you been judged?
It is time to put a stop to all of the negativity because it isn’t going to get you anywhere. But there isn’t anything I can do to make everybody stop. So I guess as humans, we are going to have to learn to deal with it. One day we can deal with it is by not judging people ourselves. Because as the saying goes, “Treat people the way you want to be treated.” So if we all live amongst those guidelines, people will be treated well.
One way you can learn to deal with it is: ignoring it. All your life you will be judged. Weather it is your race, religion, or appearance in general, someone is going to judge you. So you just need to ignore it. If someone laughs at you, just turn away and act like it doesn’t hurt you. Hopefully then that person will realize it doesn’t hurt you, and they will then leave you alone. As long as we can learn to ignore it, it won’t have a major impact on us because after all, we are who we are, and nothing as small as one person can change us.
xoxo,
Megan
